We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Clerk in the Restaurants & Catering industry based in Redondo Beach, California. This role requires an individual who can efficiently process payroll and navigate related software systems.

This position is an on-site role with a regular Monday through Friday schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Process new hires and terminations in payroll systems like ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Dayforce.
  • Handle all aspects of payroll including In-House, Manual, Multi-State, and Union payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with Payroll Law and manage Payroll Functions.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee information and payroll transactions.
  • Balance payroll from local units and ensure accurate import into the system.
  • Verify import totals, identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
  • Utilize Excel for reconciling batch totals, perform sorting, add columns, and apply formulas to ensure accurate calculations.
  • Manage and update payroll for companies with over 500 employees and under 100 employees.
  • Handle paperwork duties including scanning and filing of new hire information.
  • Support the HR manager and work closely with regional managers. • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role within the Restaurants & Catering industry
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
  • Experience with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
  • Familiarity with Dayforce, About Time, and Benefit Functions
  • Experience with ADP - Payroll and Payroll - In-House
  • Ability to handle Payroll
