Contract Engineering Associate Sr

Duties: Job Role: This role is similar to silicon validation requirement. Client is looking for mixing skill of Hardware and Software Language. Location: California (Remote) Role Responsibilities: Develop scripts to automate the testing and verification process Understand the functional C-models for compression standards Analyze and modify C-models to optimize performance Develop testbench and verification environment for Verilog/SV code Analyze the performance of compression IPs using various metrics (e.g. PSNR, error map, visually lossless, etc.) Standardizing algorithm testing, proposal for different images, and documentation, solely with C++ and Python Building scripts to run different models, debug scripts quickly, and work with the vendor to get hardware IDs Ensuring all requirements are met in Verilog system Verilog or C++ Run images and simulations; extract numbers and have analysis

Skills: Familiarity with Python, C++ and able to write scripts to analyze and compare the performance of different compression standards C-Model understanding HW programming experience Familiarity with Video/Image Processing (Preferred: Familiarity with Video/Image compression) Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles, involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control and operation of telecommunications systems Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.

Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. Previous experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering field
