- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the accounting field, preferably within the middle market or larger companies
- Proven supervisory management experience leading a team of accounting professionals
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred
- Previous experience in a large public accounting firm highly desirable
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Excel
- Adept at learning new ERP systems
- Demonstrated experience in Month End Close processes
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality.

Associate’s degree and prior experience with government agencies preferred.
