Addison - Senior Manager, Center Optimization

Overview:

The Senior Manager, Center Optimization will be responsible optimally positioning Concentra’s IT organization consistent with the centers’ need to integrate operational and clinical processes with current and future technology. In this position, you will analyze technology dependent processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
You will lead the Center Optimization POD as Product Owner and work closely with other cross-functional teams in developing strategies to optimize related workflow. Foremost, the position will create a culture of high performance and center up-time and drive real business outcomes for Concentra Medical Centers by ensuring technology works to meet our centers’ goals and objectives.
This job will have continuous focus on our medical center’s hardware, software, and networking requirements to ensure that technology and processes are optimized. Furthermore, this job will require overseeing key strategic initiatives, project management, operations, and communications.

Assist clinical and operations in understanding and mapping technology with existing or new workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with center leadership and IT SMEs to develop a deep understanding of center technology - hardware, software and networking
  • Coordinate and help implement initiatives to ensure technology is up to date
  • Work quickly to help troubleshoot and facilitate solutions when there are technology issues in the centers
  • Analyze current technology and identify area for improvement
  • Help design and implement new processes to increase IT's ability to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and PODs to implement process changes
  • Monitor and measure process performance and report on progress
  • Identify and mitigate process risks and issues
  • Coordinate with corporate communications on communications to keep all colleagues aware of technology issues and status
  • Utilize discipline and organization to consistenly execute plans on time and within budget

Qualifications:

  • Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree ; Major: Business, Marketing, Economics, Information Systems, Healthcare
  • Customarily has at least 8 years of operations experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in an Occupational Medical setting, hands-on clinical systems experience (i.e. EHR, Practice Management) a plus.
