Summary
The Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will lead the development and implementation of DEI initiatives across the organization. This role will involve collaborating with all levels of staff to create a culture that values and respects diversity (e.g. Minority and Women Business Enterprises [MWEBs]).The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DEI principles, experience in organizational change management, and a strong background in the construction industry.
Job Responsibilities- Develop and strengthen partnerships with MWBE trade partners, vendors, and suppliers to foster collaboration and support
- Work closely with internal teams to raise awareness and support for DE&I initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Develop best practices and along with leadership, promote awareness and understanding of DEI practices within the company
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of MWBE programs, using data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
- Work with MWBE's so that they fully understand company bidding requirements and are thus able to bid appropriately
- Oversees the design of procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies and external diversity regulations
