• Receiving and Processing Shipments:
• Unload trucks, check in merchandise, and inspect deliveries for damages or discrepancies.
• Verify accuracy of shipments by comparing purchase orders with products received.
• Organize and store products in appropriate areas of the warehouse.
• Order Picking and Packing:
• Accurately pick products from inventory based on customer orders.
• Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
• Ensure that orders are complete and meet quality standards before shipping.
• Inventory Management:
• Maintain accurate inventory counts by performing regular cycle counts and stock audits.
• Update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS) as necessary.
• Report any discrepancies, damaged items, or low stock levels to the supervisor.
• Warehouse Organization and Maintenance:
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe by following organizational systems and safety protocols.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining efficient storage systems to optimize space and order fulfillment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as necessary.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure compliance with company policies and warehouse procedures.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to the warehouse manager.
