The Human Resource Coordinator will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Training. This individual will collaborate with the VP of HR and other senior leaders to implement HR practices that help the department meet its goals and provide effective support to the organization.The HR Coordinator will ensure the company adheres to all legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines while also managing audits to maintain compliance. The role requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to build trust and credibility within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance- Audit and monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Communicate and coordinate actions required to maintain compliance in areas such as harassment prevention training.
- Maintain ongoing pay card consent audits, ensuring team members' consent forms are up to date.
- Report any violations or non-compliance issues to the direct supervisor.
- Track and audit Food and Alcohol certification completion and renewals to ensure timely compliance.
- Redirect verification of employment requests to The Work Number and act as a liaison for related inquiries.
- Provide general support to HR teams as needed, ensuring effective communication and operational flow.
- Utilize the HRIS/Power BI system (UKG) to manage and streamline HR processes.
- Leverage the Human Resources ticketing system to track, respond to, and resolve HR-related inquiries in a timely manner.
- Utilize E-Verify to ensure the employment eligibility of applicants and maintain records for audits.
- Process background checks for Restaurant Supervisor candidates.
- Assist Restaurant Managers with iCIMS ATS inquiries and troubleshooting.
- Support the creation and auditing of offer letters and onboarding documents.
- Maintain and update the Exit Interview Tracking Sheet.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for orientations and onboarding for Support Center new hires.
- Support the Training department with leadership conferences for Restaurant Managers.
- Assist with special projects as designated by HR, Talent Acquisition and Training and Development teams.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of human resources experience, with a focus on compliance, HRIS systems, and talent acquisition.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional, trusting relationships with Team Members, Support Center staff, and Restaurant Management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
