We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Portland, Maine. This role will be integral to our operations, with responsibilities spanning the management of accounting functions, handling of financial services, and use of computerized accounting systems.
Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Utilize computerized accounting systems to maintain up-to-date financial records
- Conduct annual budget planning and cash flow analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Operate Accounting Software Systems and ADP for financial services
- Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Work with Quickbooks Online for financial data management and reporting
- Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions to ensure smooth financial operations
- Process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process
- Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating them as necessary. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary.
- Must be able to operate a Computerized Accounting System.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are critical.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Accounting Functions is mandatory.
- Must be well-versed in managing Accounts Payable (AP).
- Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.
- Ability to develop and manage an Annual Budget is required.
- Expertise in Cash Flow Analysis is needed.
- Proficiency in using Quickbooks Online is essential.
