Accounting Clerk

We are offering a long term part-time opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Raleigh, North Carolina. The selected candidate will be the main point of contact to assist with our external accounting firm. This role primarily involves accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, along with payroll and other accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process weekly accounts payable invoices and send them to accountants
• Handle accounts receivable tasks to ensure all financial data is accurate
• Perform month-end reconciliations, including credit cards and bank transactions
• Process payroll bi-weekly for both permanent and part-time staff
• Communicate effectively with our CPA firm, ensuring they have all the necessary information
• Use accounting software like Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and invoice processing
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation
• Assist with preparations for the fiscal year-end audit
• Maintain accurate records and make sure all data is up to date.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is mandatory
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Ability to handle Billing tasks efficiently is a must
• Strong Data Entry skills are essential
• Experience in Invoice Processing is expected
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Knowledge of Oracle software is a plus
• Familiarity with QuickBooks software is desirable
• Experience with SAP systems is advantageous.
