Providence Medical Center Rehabilitation Department (Physical Therapy department) in Kansas City, KS is looking for a talented Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. This is an opportunity to work one-on-one with patients in a collaborative environment. As one of our Physical Therapists, you will:
- provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services, within scope of practice, in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders
- work closely with our physicians and providers to plan treatments to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
- perform responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements
- function according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team
- be responsible for: back pain, knee pain, stiff neck, sciatica help, arthritis pain relief, appropriate stretches
- Our clinic hours are Monday through Thursday 7:30a - 6:00p and Friday 7:30a - 3:00p
- hours/shifts are flexible
Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate Degree in Physical Therapy
- current state Physical Therapy license, or application to KS licensure in progress
- current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- one year of orthopedic outpatient experience, preferred; or, new graduates who have clinical experience as a student in the outpatient setting
