Sr. Data Architect. Location: Weehawken, NJ Duration: 6 months Position type: W2 contract. Data architect to design, build, and implement a robust data architecture You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of our data infrastructure to support complex financial reporting requirements.
Key skill sets: Data Virtualization, SQL programming, DevOps, Java (not needed), Python and Databricks Requirements: Bachelor's or master s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. At least 8 years of experience as a Data Architect, with a strong focus on the Foreign Exchange market.
Should be expert in Data Virtualization, SQL programming, DevOps, Java (not needed), Python and Databricks Deep understanding of Capital Markets reporting requirements and experience with regulatory compliance. Proficiency in data modeling tools and technologies, such as ER/Studio, Enterprise Architect, or SQL Server Data Tools.
Strong experience with database platforms, such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL, and knowledge of NoSQL databases. Expertise in ETL processes, data warehousing, and data integration tools like Informatica, Talend, or SSIS. Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or Java for data manipulation and analytics. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex datasets. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred: Certifications related to data architecture, data engineering, or database management. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and understanding of their data services. Knowledge of ML/AI techniques for predictive analysis in FX trading.
