We are offering an exciting opportunity in the retail/e-commerce industry at Plymouth, MN for an Accounting Manager. Your primary job functions will include managing all accounting operations, implementing financial controls and guidelines, and collaborating with the leadership team to resolve issues and identify opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Accounting, Treasury, and Payroll.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls and frameworks to ensure compliance and safeguard the company’s financial integrity.
• Coordinate and prepare accurate internal and external financial statements to align with reporting requirements.
• Establish and monitor internal control systems to protect organizational data, assets, and financial processes.
• Handle intercompany sales, payables, receivables, and ensure proper reconciliation and elimination at the end of each financial period.
• Support daily and weekly treasury operations, including processing wires and checks, cash flow forecasting, and other related cash management duties.
• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of journal entries as part of the month-end close process.
• Provide critical financial insights and reporting to guide management in strategic decision-making.
• Foster growth and development within the finance team by sharing knowledge, offering educational resources, and creating experiential learning opportunities.
• Document and refine Core Finance Processes and Standard Operating Procedures to streamline operations and ensure consistency.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• 5+ years of Accounting/Finance experience
• Inventory accounting experience
• Supervisory experience a plus
