Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager

As part of their growth, they are seeking a licensed and experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned book of commercial lines business, ensuring all aspects of client servicing are handled with professionalism and efficiency.
- Strategic Planning: Utilize strategic thinking to anticipate client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Daily Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by working with them daily to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide guidance on insurance products.
- Rate-Making and Underwriting: Demonstrate experience in rate-making and possess a general knowledge of underwriting processes to support client needs effectively.
- Staff Coordination: Manage and collaborate with team members to ensure workflow efficiency and resolve daily operational challenges.
Requirements:
- Licensing: Valid insurance license is required.
- Industry Expertise:
- Proficient in insurance terminology, protection solutions, and the application of policies to meet client needs.
- Knowledgeable about rating processes and available insurance markets.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in servicing commercial business.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Applied TAM software preferred.
- Professionalism:
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Professional Designations:
- Designations such as CIC, CRM, ARM, CPCU, or AAI are highly desirable but not required.
