Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in crafting compelling content that engages our target audience and strengthens our brand presence. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Copywriting: Develop clear, persuasive, and engaging copy for various channels, including websites, emails, social media, and promotional materials. Ability to learn technical information and implement that into technical content creation preferred.
- Blog Creation: Research, write, and publish informative and engaging blog posts that align with our brand voice and strategy.
- SEO Optimization: Work with the marketing operations team on keyword research and implement SEO best practices to enhance organic search visibility and drive traffic to our content.
- Content Development: Collaborate with the content team to create multimedia content, including articles, infographics, videos, and other marketing materials.
- Trade Publications: Identify opportunities for content placement in industry-specific trade publications and manage submissions.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to assess effectiveness and inform future content strategies. Drive leads through external content to our operations and inside sales team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, sales teams, and designers to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, PR or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing communications, copywriting, or content creation.
- Please be prepared to show examples of previous work.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and tools.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools is a bonus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
The Compensation range for this position is approximately $61k - $76k and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
