Staff Accountant

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Naples, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating accounting records, conducting month-end and year-end closures, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and update accounting records and files, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Categorize and post transactions in the general ledger, including assets, liabilities, and expenses.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to guarantee financial transparency.
• Implement new accounting policies and confirm compliance with rules and regulations.
• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Month End Close to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Monitor and maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Process customer credit applications with precision and in a timely manner.
• Resolve customer inquiries related to their credit accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Demonstrated abilities in bank reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger
• Comfortable with preparing and posting journal entries
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Willingness to continuously improve and learn new skills.
