Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating, deploying, and managing the infrastructure and tooling that supports our Product and Customer Engineering teams. You will report directly to the DevOps Manager and play a key role in enhancing our operational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage laboratory resources and Devices Under Test (DUTs).
- Integrate embedded devices with the continuous integration platform.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and other relevant tools.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with development teams to meet automation targets and enhance overall efficiency and velocity.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Technologies:
- Proficiency with Docker, Podman, and similar containerization technologies.
- Experience with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management.
- Comfortable working in both Windows and Linux environments.
Programming Languages:
- Proficient in Python.
- Familiarity with C++, Java, Groovy, or another object-oriented programming language is a plus.
Additional Skills:
- Understanding of Kubernetes is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
- Understanding of flashing and working with embedded hardware
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Location:
- This position is located at DSP concepts headquarters in Santa Clara, CA. A fully-remote option may be available within the USA with semi-regular travel to Santa Clara, depending on the candidate and their situation.
