Job Description
  • Develop, implement, and manage the annual budget, aligning it with the hotel's strategic objectives.
  • Conduct financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Oversee the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining transparency in financial operations.
  • Monitor and analyze operational costs, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  • Implement cost-control measures and performance metrics to enhance profitability.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies and operational plans.
  • Assess investment opportunities and provide financial analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and administration team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Promote professional development and training opportunities for team members.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.
  • Implement audit recommendations to improve financial processes and controls.
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience 5-7 years of experience in finance and administration management roles, with a focus on the hospitality industry being a significant advantage.
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience in Spanish market is requierd.
