General Job Description:

IES Holdings is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microsoft Dynamics Development Team Lead to oversee and guide our Dynamics development team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, while leading a team of developers to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Microsoft Dynamics developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure project milestones are met.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve challenges faced by the team.
Solution Development
  • Oversee the design, customization, and development of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to meet business needs.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices for quality, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document technical requirements.
Project Oversight
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Dynamics 365 projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and deadlines.
  • Manage resources and timelines for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure seamless communication.
Integration & Maintenance
  • Ensure smooth integration of Dynamics 365 with other business systems and applications.
  • Support system updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
Continuous Improvement
  • Stay updated on the latest Microsoft Dynamics features and industry trends.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

Specific Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics development, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM, ERP) and related tools, such as Power Platform.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like C#, .NET, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Proven track record in delivering complex Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

  • Microsoft Dynamics certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 Developer Associate or Functional Consultant).
  • Experience with Azure integrations, Power BI, or other complementary technologies.
  • Prior experience in construction, infrastructure, or engineering industries is a plus.
