About the job

The SAS Executive Briefing Center (EBC) is looking for a Sr Briefing Program Specialist to plan and execute customer and partner briefings, meetings, and other on-campus events at SAS HQ in Cary, NC. Our EBC serves to connect our clients with SAS executives and subject matter experts to help solve their most pressing business challenges.

We host our guests in person, virtually, or as part of a hybrid set-up.

As a Sr Briefing Program Specialist, you will:

  • Work with internal account teams to promote the EBC and drive meeting requests.
  • Plan and execute briefings, meetings, and events that deliver an exceptional customer/partner experience.
  • Facilitate prep and planning calls with account teams and discussion with leaders to ensure everyone understands the briefing objectives.
  • Develop and execute a full-service agenda that meets the requirements of the attending customer/partner.
  • Work with senior leadership, sales, and other areas of the company to create, plan, and execute customized briefings with content that makes a difference.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of EBC briefings, meetings, and events.
Required Qualifications
  • Eight years of experience in sales or marketing, including experience interacting with customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Cary, NC at least three days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays), with availability on Mondays and Fridays for client meetings if needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast- paced, customer-driven environment. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with specific deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of business-to-business sales/marketing initiatives, processes and operations.
  • Solid understanding of SAS solutions and solution experts who can best speak to those solutions.
  • Ability to facilitate meeting discussions as needed.
  • Public speaking and web development experience.
