We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Claims Assistant to assist our Workers Compensation claims department. You will be handling a wide variety of tasks including assisting claims examiners, organizing insurance claims files, and ensuring all claims-related documentation and data are accurate and complete.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support claims examiners with their day-to-day tasks.
  2. Create and maintain records of insurance claims in compliance with applicable procedures and regulations.
  3. Prepare claims reports.
  4. Assist in the research and investigation process of claims.
  5. Organize and review insurance policies and claim forms.
  6. Communicate with claimants, insurance agents, and adjusters as needed.
  7. Compile and check the accuracy of data in claims files.
  8. Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive information.
  9. Previous experience in Worker's Compensation insurance claims or similar field is an advantage.
  10. Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  11. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  12. Proficient in MS Office; experience with claims management software is a plus.
  13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  14. Must have integrity and maintain confidentiality.
  15. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
