Associate Attorney

Robert Half is partnering with a prestigious business litigation firm in downtown Los Angeles. The firm is seeing an Associate Attorney to join the team.

This is a hybrid on-site role based in downtown Los Angeles. This attorney will be expected to come into the office two to three days a week.

Associate Attorney Responsibilities:

• This person will work on complex business litigation matters.
• A-Z case management of cases from inception through trial. Typically, cases will have a partner and anywhere from 1-3 attorneys.
• Heavy law and motion.
• Discovery, including depositions.
• Law and motion.
• Court appearances.
• Pleadings.
• No billable hour requirement, but most people in the firm average ~1900 hours per year.

Compensation, Benefits, Other Perks:

• Salary up to $175,000.
• Bonus paid out annually, based on hours billed, contribution to the firm, and overall firm performance.
• Medical HMO is covered 100% for the employee, with a PPO available at a contribution, which kicks in first of the month after employment.

1. 5 years of experience in business litigation.
