Role Overview:The SVP of Corporate Communications & Public Relations will be responsible for shaping and executing iGenius external and internal communication strategies. This role will focus on enhancing brand reputation, managing corporate messaging, handling crisis communications, and leading media relations.
The SVP will work closely with the executive leadership team, marketing, and other key stakeholders to ensure a consistent and compelling corporate narrative.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate communications strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead C-suite executive communications, including thought leadership, keynote speeches, and investor messaging.
- Oversee the creation of compelling press releases, media statements, and corporate announcements.
- Manage media relations, including proactive and reactive engagement with top-tier outlets, journalists, and industry analysts.
- Craft messaging and responses for crisis communications and reputation management.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with media, PR agencies, and key industry influencers.
- Drive proactive storytelling and thought leadership opportunities for the company and executives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related fields.
- Proven track record in executive communications, media relations, and crisis management.
- Experience in a publicly traded or highly regulated industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, tech, etc.).
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Exceptional relationships with journalists, media outlets, and PR networks.
- Leadership experience managing teams and external partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
