Looking for consultant with experience in Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint development, Teams implementation, and OneNote implementation) to drive and implement overall strategy for DEA’s communications and collaboration approach.
Day-to-Day:
Looking for a Communications Consultant to sit in Cambridge, MA. This role serves as the communications and collaboration lead for the central, shared service Data Engineering & Analytics function (DEA) within Information Technology (IT). This central group offers enabling capabilities and services in a hub-and-spoke fashion for a wide variety of constituents and business units across information management, integration, analytics and data science capabilities and platforms.This group interfaces and operates projects in partnership with multiple functions within Company.
The communications consultant will report into the DEA Operations and Portfolio Management Lead while working alongside DEA leadership in support of day-to-day operational activities and develop targeted messaging and content to support DEA’s internal branding, content management, and delivery highlights.
Specific responsibilities will include but not limited to the following tasks:
- Determine overall strategy for DEA’s communications and collaboration approach utilizing a message/audience/channel framework
- Reconcile and enhance team’s current use of multiple SharePoint Sites and integration with Company Portal (developed in Unily)
- Work directly with Enterprise Collaboration Team to develop and champion best-practice approach to use of company’s collaboration assets including Unily, SharePoint, and entire Microsoft 365 suite
- Facilitate and enhance DEA team’s Work Intake process and develop necessary enhancements to SharePoint Work Intake application
- Facilitate collection and dissemination of DEA team’s accomplishments and status
Must-haves:
- 1 – 2 years of hands-on experience with the implementation and enhancement of Microsoft 365 Tools including SharePoint, Teams, and OneNote
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaborations and interpersonal skills
- Go-getter mentality with willingness to do whatever the job takes
- Bachelors Degree
