Data Architect III (SR Data Architect) (Contingent)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A strong candidate will possess significant experience applying data architecture and management principles.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define the enterprise architecture standards and policies surrounding data management.
• Produce any enterprise architecture artifacts, including any of the 24 DODAF 2.02 views i.e., All Viewpoints (AV), Capability Viewpoints (CV), Data and Information Viewpoints (DIV), Operational Viewpoints (OV), Service Viewpoints (SvcV), Standards Viewpoints (StdV), and System Viewpoints (SV).
• Develop and maintain the enterprise information model (EIM).
• Review and assess existing enterprise architecture artifacts to ensure conformity to appropriate architecture frameworks and definitions, and other relevant standards.
• Responsible for the strategic design of how data is collected, stored, and used.
• Create data models to support analytics and products.
• Translate business needs into data models that can be used as long-term solutions.
• Design and implement database solutions for storing and retrieving data.
• Update and optimize local and metadata models.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field.

Security Clearance:

• Active DoD Secret Clearance Required

Work Experience:

• 15+ years in the analyzing or support of data IT systems or applications or related activities.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Salary Range: $133,500 - $138,500
