We are offering a contract to permanent opportunity for an O365 Systems Administrator in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is crucial within our non-profit organization, focusing on the management, support, and optimization of our Microsoft Office 365 environment.
Collaborating with our IT team and other stakeholders, you will ensure a seamless, productive, and secure user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support our enterprise-level Microsoft Office 365 environment, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related technologies
- Collaborate with IT and external consultants for planning and executing the deployment of new applications and services within Office 365
- Conduct regular audits of system use, security, and performance to suggest improvements
- Develop user training materials and guides for Office 365 services
- Assist in creating policies for the proper use of Office 365 services
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user access to Office 365 services
- Oversee the migration of users to Office 365 services from other systems ensuring no loss of data
- Act as a liaison between users and Microsoft for issues requiring vendor intervention
- Regularly review changes made to Office 365 services and suggest necessary adjustments
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure infrastructure aligns with the organization's mission and needs

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Relevant professional certifications would be an advantage
