Licensed Practical Nurse / Skilled Care / Contract - Lyons, NY (#25109)

Minimum of 1 year experience in a long-term care facility

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to fill an opening with a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Lyons, NY

Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse:

• Carries out uncomplicated therapeutic treatments such as giving enemas, preparing and applying simple dressings, and administering certain medications in accordance with established policy;
• Assists in the implementation of the nursing care plan;
• Takes the temperature, notes the rate of pulse and respiration, and observes the records of other signs and symptoms as directed;
• Collects specimens and assists in carrying out diagnostic procedures under supervision;
• Assists in the admission and discharge of patients;
• Assists patients in performing ambulating exercises and maintaining proper joint motion;
• Cares for equipment used in the care of patients as directed;
• Makes beds and performs other tasks designed to provide a suitable environment for patients;
• Bathes patients and gives personal hygienic care.

• Must have an active New York State License
• Must have at least one (1) year of experience in long-term care facility

• The salary for this position is $45 / hr
• This is a Full-time position
• 5 Sick days
