Overview:
Under general direction, performs complex assignments related to data analysis and reporting, monitors and reports on fleet performance, service reliability, and cost performance indicators; performs data mining and report generation for regulatory compliance.Administers the vehicle fueling system program.
This is an exempt position in Salary Grade 185: Min $78,302 - Mid $93,962 - -Max $109,622 annually. The starting salary will be within this range based on qualifications.
The position will remain open until a candidate is selected.

- Maintains, monitors, troubleshoots, and revises the agency’s vehicle fueling tracking system. Provides daily monitoring of vehicle fuel data, runs diagnostic reports on fuel system, advises maintenance bases of fuel reporting problems, checks vehicle identification terminals for proper functioning, and assists with maintaining system authorizations and access control.
- Extracts, complies, and submits vehicle maintenance and fleet data to regulatory compliance agencies and others.
- Tracks and analyzes maintenance performance dashboard data, leads quality assurance efforts, communicates findings, reports deficiencies, and ensures overall data integrity.
- Prepares databases, spreadsheets and/or presentations for management analysis or review.
- Assists in the planning and development of Operational tasks or projects.
- Coordinates fleet assignments and vehicle movement. Prepares Equipment Assignment report and coordinates with various departments to complete fleet movements. Monitors the use of the contingency fleet and tracks usage.
- Tracks trends in fuel usage and prepares periodic management reports on fuel usage and analyzes data.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships.
Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related field with a minimum of five years of applicable experience in a similar assignment, vehicle maintenance experience desirable.
Special Conditions:
Position requires frequent travel between agency locations and ability to function in a maintenance shop environment.
