The Department of Justice (DOJ) Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) requires technical support services for the implementation and continuing support of enterprise-wide software development related activities for systems used by the OCDETF Fusion Center (OFC), the International Organized Crime Intelligence and Operations Center (IOC-2), and the OCDETF Executive Office.
ITC Federal is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Security Analyst to service as the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for OCDETF’s SBU systems. Responsibilities:
- Operate all OCDETF information systems in compliance with relevant FISMA, NIST, FIPS, and FedRamp regulations.
- Maintain and improve security posture for existing OCDETF systems.
- Advise the Government on emerging vulnerabilities.
- Work closely with the system and network administration, database administration, quality assurance, and software engineering teams, including other Contractor, Government, and Vendor stakeholders, as necessary to ensure secure operation of OCDETF systems.
- Responsible for security policy development, network penetration testing, application vulnerability assessments, risk analysis and compliance testing.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
- Minimum of an active Secret security clearance; ITC can cage higher level clearances.
- At least 7 years previous experience in information security as an ISSO for at least one federally accredited major application. Experience should include security policy development, network penetration testing, application vulnerability assessments, risk analysis and compliance testing.
- Possess expert knowledge of federal, Department, and industry best practices for information security standards, rules, and regulations related to information security and data confidentiality. Experience with risk identification and analysis on desktops, servers, applications, and databases.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Advanced information security certification(s) are preferred, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), but not required for this position.
- Experience supporting federal law enforcement customers or DOJ agencies.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Candidate must be able to function in general office environment.
