Randstad - Senior Payroll Specialist

You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local wage and labor laws, including tax withholding and unemployment insurance.

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for ~300 multi-state employees, including pay, commissions, bonuses, and reimbursements.
• Ensure compliance with wage and labor laws, tax withholding, and unemployment insurance.
• Manage benefit deductions, garnishments, and payroll-related withholdings.
• Maintain payroll systems for data accuracy; conduct regular audits.
• Update documentation and regulatory reports for payroll processing and audits.
• Generate and handle HR reports, ad hoc analytics, and EEO-1 reporting.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure timely updates.
• Review wage and hour compliance with federal and local regulations.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with accounting.
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting for accurate payroll processing.
• Develop and maintain payroll and HRIS procedures and policies.
• Configure HRIS for improved payroll efficiency.
• Support Management, HR, Finance, and Accounting on payroll and HRIS matters.
• Set up new tax jurisdictions and process Certified Payroll via LCP Tracker.
• Audit and distribute W-2 and 1099 forms; handle 401(k) and HSA contributions.
• Process open enrollment feeds, verify employment requests, and address unemployment claims.
