Senior HR Program Manager, AWS Global Sales

The AWS Global Sales (AGS) HR Organization is seeking a Senior HR Program Manager to drive program and process initiatives and deliverables as we Strive to be Earth's Best Employer.
In this position, we are looking for a flexible, organized, self-starter to work with the HR team and broader organization to determine and operationalize the HR strategy for the business. The HR strategy should incorporate and complement the business priorities.This role is responsible for bringing together all of the organizations’ HR partner teams (ex. Recruiting, Compensation) to create a #oneteam people strategy and team dynamic, which would be reflected in updates to the business and HR.
As the HR Program Management Leader, you will work across stakeholder and partner teams to bring the #oneteam together, understanding each teams priorities and deliverables. You will be responsible for creating a structure for people updates to the business, incorporating into the rhythm of the business.You should be comfortable and enjoy diving into data to pull out themes, areas of opportunity and then create action plans for the leaders. You will consistently evaluate the HR priorities based on the current environment to determine if the priorities need to be reassessed or changed to ensure they consistently resonate with the business.
You will build relationships across the business, HR teams and broader AGS and AWS in order to consistently provide relevant and timely updates to the HR team and business. You will know how/when to share relevant information, translating updates for your specific business unit.
You will take complex problems and simplify them for your own team, becoming the subject matter expert for your team. You should be comfortable presenting data and writing documents for the business. You should have a bias for action and ability to consistently reprioritize based on new priorities.
You will know how to navigate in a fast-paced environment and proactively share new ideas for process improvements and areas of opportunity for the HR team and the business.

- 7+ years of project or program management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Master’s degree in related discipline
- Experience working in a Global team environment with multiple time zones
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High quality document preparation and presentation skills to tell a story
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Ability to create reports and analyze people metrics
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and adhere to strict confidentiality standards
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments, as well as be an active member of both business and HR teams
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing company-wide programs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $187,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
