Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Purchasing Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on supporting the procurement process for the materials and components necessary to manufacture our robotics solutions. You will work closely with engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, while maintaining a strong supply chain.
Requirements- Support the procurement process for materials and components by coordinating with internal teams to ensure material availability for production.
- Track and manage supplier performance, including maintaining supplier relationships and assisting in the evaluation process.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with forecasting to ensure that materials are available as needed for production schedules.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential disruptions.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring proper documentation and accurate tracking of deliveries.
- Maintain compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements for all purchased materials.
- Ensure accurate records of purchasing activities and assist in the preparation of purchasing reports.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain analyst role, ideally within a technology or manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in negotiation and vendor management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Experience with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience and Skills Preferred:
- Experience in robotics, automation, or similar high-tech industries.
- Familiarity with materials and components used in robotics systems.
- Knowledge of global supply chain practices and international procurement.
- Familiarity with ERP, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Systems.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 3+ years in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing analyst roles.
- Travel: Occasional travel to supplier sites or industry events may be required.
- Physical: Office, Manufacturing, and warehouse environment; ability to move between teams and facilities.
- Attitude: Proactive, detail-oriented, and focused on optimizing processes and supporting operational efficiency.
