OSI Systems is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. This individual will focus primarily on meeting the Company's tax compliance and reporting needs. They will also be responsible for timely preparing and filing OSI’s complex tax returns, and estimated payments (federal, state, and local income tax).In addition, this person is responsible for handling notices and audits. The Senior Tax Accountant assists with the global tax provision. This individual assists with transfer pricing documentation and international tax compliance and provision work as needed.
They will interact with the corporate tax team as well as other finance professionals and must be able to clearly articulate ideas and concepts while working with key members in the organization. In addition, they must be able to process large amounts of data using Excel or other software and act as a team player, support other tax functions as needed.
This individual is expected to stay up to date on tax laws affecting the company.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the OSI Tax Team to timely and accurately prepare the US federal and state income tax returns.
- Assist the OSI Tax Team on various projects including transfer pricing, Foreign Tax Credits and Research & Development Credits.
- Assist with the preparation of the global tax provision.
- Assist with the variety of tax audits and notices that OSI encounters on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and 2+ years of experience with Corporate income tax returns is required.
- CPA preferred.
- Broad US tax background, including strong hands-on experience with the preparation of consolidated federal and multi-state income tax returns utilizing the “Onesource” or “GoSystem” software, Microsoft Excel, and depreciation software is needed.

- Solid experience with Microsoft Excel and demonstrated ability to learn software packages is essential. Alteryx experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong organization, analytic and communication skills are required.

- Must have good problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Needs to have a record of driving and achieving goals and meeting deadlines.

- Strong presence and credibility with management skills that allow for instant credibility with key constituents.
