Logistics Management Analyst
Overview:
Goldbelt Frontier, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Alaskan Native Corporation Goldbelt, Frontier places an emphasis on research and development, behavioral health, and medical and technological support services. Frontier is ideally suited to work with the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services.Goldbelt Frontier’s leadership offers specific expertise related to medical staffing, behavioral health, and program development CONUS and OCONUS.
Summary:
The Army’s Strategic Mobility Program, when fully implemented, will greatly expand the Army’s ability to quickly move personnel and equipment to potential contingencies throughout the world. To accomplish this objective, a balance of airlift, sealift, and sustainment (prepositioned equipment and supplies) is needed to provide the ability to project forces worldwide and sustain those forces during a contingency.
The Logistics Management Analyst Subject Matter Expert (SME) will support USAMMA and the Medical P&D Materiel Program that provides Early Deploying, EAB medical units, deploying from CONUS home stations with their basic load of medical P&D materiel.Strategies for providing this materiel include acquiring and positioning medical materiel at various CONUS and OCONUS locations and utilizing multiple Prime Vendor (PV) acquisition tools for specific items.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
- Work in coordination with team to schedule deployments, shipping and tracking of equipment from the point of origin to various locations meeting time sensitive deadlines using various shipping methods and carriers
- Organizes, directs and coordinates staff performing moderately complex and challenging logistical activities
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of budgeting processes and ensures that task schedules and deliverables accomplished
- 15% OCONUS travel expected.
- Coordinate the return of equipment, inspection, and conduct of maintenance and/or repairs as necessary based on return inspection
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment, produce updated status reports, maintain shipping and receiving logs, and work with procurement to track order status, and repair/maintenance issues
- Develop standard operating procedures for all logistics processes
- Conduct audits of procedures to ensure adherence to international and US procedures
Qualifications:
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience in program and project management or related organizational or operational support, including demonstrated cost, budget, and analytical expertise
- Experience in conducting targeted review of status and identify points of risk and be able to identify alternative strategies for addressing and mitigating risk
- Strong writing and organizational skills, knowledgeable and proficient with the MS Office Suite
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum 5 or more years of related experience
- Background in CONUS and OCONUS logistical planning and execution
- Possess the ability to pass a NACI background check
- US citizen
The salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually.
