We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist in the Real Estate & Property industry, located in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will take charge of auditing, administering and analyzing compensation and benefits, as well as managing claims, while ensuring effective communication and utilization of the UKG Pro system.
Responsibilities:- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance in compensation and benefits processes
- Administer benefit functions, including enrollment and termination processes
- Handle claim administration, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Manage COBRA administration, overseeing notifications and enrollments
- Communicate effectively with employees and management regarding compensation and benefits matters
- Administer employee benefits, ensuring accurate records and timely updates
- Analyze benefits packages and make recommendations for improvements
- Develop and manage compensation and benefits strategies in alignment with company objectives
- Utilize UKG Pro for managing and analyzing employee data and benefits administration
- Continuously stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in compensation and benefits. • Must have a minimum of five years of experience in a Compensation & Benefits Specialist role or a similar role within the Real Estate & Property industry.
- Proficiency in auditing, benefits functions, claim administration, and Cobra administration is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
- Experience in benefits administration and benefits analysis is required.
- Knowledge and experience in compensation & benefits within the real estate and property industry.
- Familiarity with UKG Pro is desirable.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Proven track record of managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- Professional certification in Human Resources or Compensation & Benefits is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is required.
