Candidate for this position shall have the following qualifications:

  • Three to Ten (3-10) years of relevant business analysis/project management experience in managing and coordinating production support involving large, complex, and integrated technology platforms within the Financial Services industry. Activities include but are not limited to issue triage and corresponding root cause analysis, coordination and collaboration with multiple business and technology teams, issue and data correction, issue and data validation, retrospective facilitation, and subsequent implementation of lessons learned
  • Experience collaborating with business users, QA, and other business domain experts to define complex functional specifications that serve as inputs within 'Behavior Driven Development' test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, SpecFlow, Selenium, and Cypress
  • Ability to elicit and develop best-in-class business requirements and specifications leveraging input, needs, and confirmation from the business subject matter experts in combination with strong technical and analytical skills (knowledge of employee benefits administration practices is a plus)
  • Experience leading the business analysis, data analysis, testing, and implementation efforts in production support, product, and project environments, including but not limited to requirements definition and elicitation; composition of user stories and corresponding acceptance criteria/test cases through 'Specification by Example' and 'Gherkin' test cases; supporting development; leading business process optimizations, user acceptance testing, data validation, operational readiness, and cutover to production
  • Experience coordinating the work between the business, IT, and vendors, including fostering solid relationships that lead to collaboration and success
  • Ability to assess technology and business landscape to identify and address upstream, downstream, and cross-functional impacts
  • Ability to develop current and future state business processes to identify/implement business process improvements and transformation
  • Ability to lead, coach, and support business areas in developing user acceptance test ("UAT") scenarios to verify, validate, and confirm system functionality effectively meets the business needs, including end-to-end testing.
  • Ability to lead the UAT efforts and coordinate end-to-end testing
  • Expert in Microsoft Office application suite of products including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Hands-on experience with team collaboration areas (e.g., SharePoint, Wiki, Teams), issue-tracking applications (e.g., Jira), and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)
  • strong understanding of and experience with waterfall and agile development methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including with technical and non-technical audiences; executives, and front-line staff

Candidate for this position shall have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop/finalize business requirements using leading best practices, including but not limited to facilitating conditions elicitation and confirmation sessions through 'Specification by Example' and 'Gherkin' test scenarios, impact, and gap analysis, data analysis, business process analysis, and other business analysis activities
  • Coordinate discussions between business, data, and IT resources to bring industry, data, and technical requirements and analysis together for optimal solution design across different platforms
  • Develop current (if needed) and future state business process maps through Microsoft Visio or another comparable tool with the business process owners that leverage business process modeling best practices, optimize business processes, and reduce both risk and waste
  • Develop user testing strategy and lead business testing efforts, including coaching and collaborating with business subject matter experts to develop business UAT scenarios in Gherkin format, including end-to-end scenarios; assist in identifying test data; oversee and manage UAT; triage and coordinate defect resolution process and coordinate end-to-end and parallel testing
  • Collaborate with data analysts to perform troubleshooting and data analysis activities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business and IT staff
  • Collaborate with other business users, business analysts, data analysts, software developers, and system integration team leads to identify opportunities to improve the functionality of an application, increase operating efficiency, and improve processe
  • Support business operations and participate in resolution activities with IT and business users
  • Consult with and provide guidance to I&FS executives to support strategic decision-making, facilitate workflow process redesign, increase productivity, and minimize risks. Provide expert guidance and recommend various alternatives to business problems to best leverage resources
