Associate Attorney – Civil Law (Cherry Hill, NJ)

Duties and Responsibilities

As an Associate Attorney, you will:

• Represent corporate, governmental, and individual clients in civil litigation matters.
• Handle zoning and planning, insurance defense, and various other civil legal issues.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, including real estate contracts, insurance defense answers, and divorce complaints.
• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and other legal resources.
• Communicate regularly with clients and collaborate with other attorneys via phone, video, and in person.
• Attend court proceedings and participate in hearings.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school.
• New Jersey Bar admission in good standing (required).
• 1-5 years of experience in civil law, particularly in insurance defense and real estate zoning.
• Ability to draft pleadings, including real estate contracts, divorce complaints, and insurance defense answers.
• Strong research and writing skills, with proficiency in LexisNexis.
• Professional communication skills for client and attorney interactions.
• Must be able to work in the office full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
