Job Summary:

  • The Business Development Specialist supports the demand and lead generation function for the Growth team. Day to day tasks include updating designated fields from research in HubSpot, creation of Deal Cards/Opportunity Summaries for Regional Growth VPs following up on Marketing leads and initial outreach and prospecting within their assigned territories. Interfaces with internal colleagues in Marketing, Growth (Sales), and Client Success (CS), in support of Growth Operations.

Essential Functions and Tasks:

  • Working with two (2) Growth RVPs in support of their prospect development.
  • Support Growth Operations Director in Deal and Lead hygiene in HubSpot.
  • Work with CRM Support Specialist on research projects to define and understand path to bookings on regional Business Unit markets.
  • Research and update CRM fields on a regular cadence as established by policy.
  • Stay up to date on HubSpot certifications (post-hire, training is provided).
  • Regularly update Growth Leadership team on emerging trends in local markets to keep our Playbook nimble.
  • Support RVPs at shows.
  • Achieve Discovery Meeting and Lead Generation targets as defined by Growth Leadership team.
  • Direct outreach to prospects as appropriate in the lead development process.
  • Work with Marketing on targeted outreach and follow-up campaigns.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • No formal education requirement.
  • Familiarity with Sales/Growth mindset (Value Selling a plus).
  • 2+ years of healthcare related experience preferred (we sell directly to physicians, groups – understanding of physician/nurse communication style will be helpful).
  • 1+ years’ experience supporting a formal CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics, etc).
  • 1+ years’ experience supporting Revenue Operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic understanding of US Healthcare (Or direct experience in healthcare practice management/RCM Billing).
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply state/federal laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Ability to communicate with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature, and professional manner.
  • Ability to remain flexible and work within a collaborative and fast paced environment.
  • Basic use of computer, telephone, internet, copier, fax, and scanner.
  • Basic Math skills.
  • Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and CRM software skills.
