Sr. Control Systems Engineer
We are seeking a knowledgeable Control Systems Engineer to support an ongoing conversion from Foxboro DCS to PlantPAx project. This role involves reviewing communication between both systems, participating in meetings, and coordinating with team members and the lead engineer.
The position will also require providing updates to the Lead Engineer and Project Manager. This position is critical to ensure a seamless transition from the Foxboro DCS to the PlantPAx control system, which is essential for improving operational efficiency and system reliability.

responsibilities:
- Review and analyze the communication between Foxboro DCS and PlantPAx systems.
- Attend project meetings and collaborate with team members and the lead engineer.
- Conduct site visits during the cutover phase to ensure a smooth transition.
- Share project updates with the Lead Engineer and Project Manager.
- Analyze customer requirements to develop optimal control system solutions.
- Perform conceptual design and software development for hardware and software systems.
- Oversee the integration of third-party hardware and control systems.
- Write technical specifications and project reports as necessary.
- Lead technical planning and direction for internal and customer system testing.
- Provide on-site commissioning support for control systems as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: BS in Engineering or a relevant degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering, specifically with Foxboro DCS and PlantPAx.
- Must-Have Skills:
- Foxboro DCS and PlantPAx expertise
- Understanding of Foxboro communication protocols.
- Ability to travel to the site as needed.
