Position Overview:
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our innovative, high-growth energy company in Norwalk. As a Senior Accountant, you will be immersed in thrilling financial activities, guiding fiscal planning, forecasting, budgeting, and stimulating your analytical prowess with far-reaching analysis tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements for energy assets
- Ensure compliance with company standards and GAAP
- Complete transactional accounting, account reconciliations, and participate in closing processes
- Aid in budget and forecast preparations
- Advise and drive financial performance
- Suggest and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Prior public accounting and/or industry exposure highly preferred
- CPA preferred
