We are offering an opportunity for a Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure in Fairfax, Virginia. This role involves the management of Windows-based network systems, servers, and workstations, ensuring stability, security, and efficiency.
This contract to permanent role offers a chance to contribute to our team in a significant way by providing support for software and hardware issues across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the optimal uptime of system performance by monitoring and troubleshooting issues.
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers and workstations.
- Management of Active Directory, Group Policies, and user access controls.
- Implementation and maintenance of security protocols, including patches and updates.
- Conducting regular backups and planning for disaster recovery.
- Assisting with the resolution of software and hardware issues across the organization.
- Ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our network systems.
- Utilizing skills in Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Dell Technologies, Firewall Technologies for system administration.
- Applying knowledge of AB Testing, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Cluster Analysis, Computer Hardware in daily tasks.
- Managing and maintaining our Windows-based IT infrastructure. • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Cisco Technologies
- Knowledge and experience with Citrix Technologies
- Familiarity with Cloud Technologies, including implementation and support
- Experience with Dell Technologies
- Ability to work with Firewall Technologies for system security
- Experience with AB Testing procedures
- Proficiency in working with Active Directory
- Experience with Backup Technologies
- Skills in Cluster Analysis
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot Computer Hardware
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
