Accountant

This role will involve working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports, ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of payments and collections.
• Review special invoices that cannot be processed through the system and take appropriate actions.
• Perform weekly forecasting and reconciliation activities.
• Prepare and load journal entries into QAD ERP and Plex systems.
• Handle daily reporting tasks and prepare financial reports based on income statement and balance sheet data.
• Work with the construction in process (CIP) system, particularly dealing with the invoices.
• Manage fixed assets and capitalization processes.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to generate a variety of reports.
• Assist with month-end closing processes.
• Participate in one-on-one meetings with managers and other office personnel. • Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Knowledge and experience in using ADP - Financial Services is a must
• Familiarity with Cl Programming is required
• Applicant should be well-versed in using Concur
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential
• Mastery of accounting functions is necessary
• Practical experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is a requirement
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed
• Auditing skills are a must-have
• Experience in managing Balance Sheet Account is required
