Payroll Clerk

An up-and-coming healthcare organization seeks a diligent Payroll Clerk. If you possess strong mathematical skills and a high level of organization, then this position is perfect for you. As a Payroll Clerk, you'll be primarily responsible for maintaining payroll information, accurately entering payroll data, and resolving payroll discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile payroll data from time sheets and other records.
• Review wages computed and correct errors to ensure the accuracy of payroll.
• Record changes affecting net wages, such as exemptions, insurance coverage, and loan payments for each employee.
• Complete time sheets showing employees' arrival and departure times.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or relevant certification will be an advantage.
• Proven experience as a payroll clerk or payroll manager.
• Good understanding of legislation relevant to payroll.
• Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of payroll software.
