Clinical Director of Adult Medicine

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Director of Adult Medicine to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our adult medicine department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the adult medicine department, including physicians, nurses, and support staff
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
- Collaborate with other department heads and senior leadership to improve patient care and operational efficiency
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of clinical staff
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided to adult patients, and implement initiatives for continuous improvement
- Participate in strategic planning and business development activities to support the growth of the adult medicine department
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and patient-centered care within the department
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) and board certification in internal medicine or a related specialty
- Current state medical license and in good standing
- Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting, preferably in adult medicine
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adult patients
