Administrative Assistant

We are in search of an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Akron, Ohio. The individual in this role will be tasked with a variety of administrative tasks, including managing phone lines, maintaining the front desk, and providing support to our executive team.
This position will provide an opportunity to work in a business casual environment and contribute to the smooth functioning of our operations.
Responsibilities:- Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist customers and address inquiries
- Oversee the front desk, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for visitors
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings for the executive team
- Manage email correspondence effectively and professionally
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) to create presentations and manage data
- Oversee the distribution of mail, receiving packages, and sending out mail as needed
- Manage office supplies, ensuring adequate stock and timely ordering of new supplies
- Assist in preparing and sending out seasonal communications, such as Christmas cards
- Maintain accurate records and files to ensure efficient information management
- Perform copying tasks as required, ensuring all materials are prepared and organized for meetings or presentations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
- Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls
- Ability to manage email correspondence effectively and professionally
- Capability to schedule appointments accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with mail distribution procedures within an office setting
- Experience or ability to learn how to order office supplies as needed
- Proficiency in answering inbound calls promptly and professionally
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent educational level
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work environments.
