Sr. Accountant

We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our professional services team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you'll be primarily focused on project-related accounting tasks, including billings, collections, management reports, and accounts payable.

• Assist in project-related accounting, mainly concentrating on billings, collections, management reports, and accounts payable.
• Analyze and interpret contracts for a clear understanding of the financial implications.
• Execute bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Handle collections, ensuring prompt payment of invoices.
• Maintain a multi-task job schedule to ensure daily routine tasks and project work are accomplished effectively.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
• Collaborate with teams to accomplish project work.
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all responsibilities.
• Adapt to a high-pressure environment with multiple deadlines.

• Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional accounting role.
• Degree in accounting or finance
• Demonstrable experience with General Ledger management.
• Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience in Month End Close procedures.
• Prior experience handling Commercial Construction Projects is required.
• Knowledge of Project Accounting is required.
• Must have a strong understanding of financial reporting standards.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
