Facilities Manager
Growing facility management firm is seeking a Facilities Manager to add to their team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience managing facilities, a degree in engineering or business and solid business analysis and operations experience.
This role will oversee facilities in a few other cities in the U.S. and will require some light monthly travel (about 25%).
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:
- Serve as main account manager/ point of contact for client regarding facility management of several locations, maintaining strong relationships
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess client needs and provide innovative solutions
- Manage facility operations relating to building maintenance, custodial services and other services and other contract services including security, cleaning and waste management
- Supervise local operations teams
- Work with client to identify new business opportunities and foster account growth
- Manage contract negotiations, lease renewals and pricing strategies
- Prepare and present account performance reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or similar
- Solid business acumen with financial and analytical mindset; ability to read and present financial data
- Proven experience with Account Management
- strong operational skills and experience with facility management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel to other locations as needed, about once per month
- MS Office software proficiency
