We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Owings Mills, Maryland. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the responsibility general accounting, handling accounts payable and receivables, and assisting personnel with specialist accounting projects as needed.

Responsibilities:

• General ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Handle accounts payable and receivables duties.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Process customer credit applications.
• Input invoices, checks, and other business transactions into the general ledger system.
• Research, track, and resolve accounting issues as needed.
• Maintain and update information in financial database.
• Maintain and update assigned reports in a timely manner.
• 1-2+ years of general accounting experience
• Degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
• Ability to manage vendor relationships effectively
• Experience in entering vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is required
