Responsibilities:
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: part time hours - approx. 20 hours / week
Daily:
Inspect all groundsRemove dead vegetation (down or brown)
Check trash,emply as needed (clubhouse,bathrooms,pool,gazebo,dock)
Inspect pool area.Clean and organize.Blow if needed.
Inspect bathrooms.Resupply paper products/soap.Clean as needed
Maintain list ofsupplies for purchase (paper,cleaning,gas,tools,etc.)
Check with manager for work orders,special projects or instructions
Weekly:
Check golf cart batteries water,fill with distilled as neededMop clubhouse and bathroom floors. Wipe/disinfect all surfaces,including fridge.Clean toilets
Check poolgrill for cleanliness and propane.Clean as needed
Wipe clubhouse deck furniture
Rake beach.Clean and organize furniture (FRIDAYS)
Blow,rake,remove leaves (seasonal)
Vine removal (air potato,smilax,creeper,grape leaf,philodendron etc.)
Weed flower beds,drainage areas
Monthly:
Clean clubhouse glass doors.Clean sliding door tracks
Quarterly:
Pressure wash fishing dock
Annually:
Pressure wash driveways (September/October)
As Needed:
Clean road swales and storm drain gratesReplace sprinkler heads
Hand water grass/plants
Touch up paint/stain
Clean fishing dock life ring
Maintain drainage structures
Keep shed clean and organized
Plus other work related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience with Carpentry, Concrete, Doors, Drywall, Fencing, Plumbing and Painting required.
- Experience with Cleaning, Locks and Gutters highly desired.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English. Bilingual a plus.
- Must be a proficient problem-solver.
- Must know how to use tools, supplies, materials, chemicals in a manner that does not endanger self, other employees, residents, the environment or the public in general.
- Experience and skills with simple electric maintenance is a plus, but not necessary.
- Pool maintenance experience is a plus, but not necessary.
Pay = $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
