We are pioneering an innovative digital community committed to sharing the power of God's love through integrated education, athletics, artistic expression, and spiritual formation.
Position Overview
We are seeking a visionary Executive Director to lead our pioneering global initiative that integrates music ministry, faith formation, and behavioral health through the transformative power of God's love. This 100% remote position offers the opportunity to shape and launch a comprehensive ministry that reaches individuals from preschool through graduate school, using music as a vehicle for spiritual growth and emotional wellbeing.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for establishing Building Caring's global presence, with initial focus on the United States and subsequent expansion to Africa, Australia, Asia, and Europe
Educational Leadership & Program Development- Design age-appropriate music and faith programs for:
- Early Childhood (ages 3-5)
- Elementary School (grades K-5)
- Middle School (grades 6-8)
- High School (grades 9-12)
- Undergraduate Students
- Graduate Students
- Develop curriculum that integrates musical worship, faith formation, and mental health awareness
- Create developmental frameworks that ensure program continuity across age groups
- Establish assessment methods for measuring spiritual and emotional growth
- Oversee the development of worship and praise programs across all age levels
- Create innovative approaches to musical worship that resonate with different age groups
- Design music therapy initiatives that support behavioral health objectives
- Foster musical excellence while maintaining focus on spiritual growth
- Develop training programs for music ministry leaders and volunteers
- Create age-appropriate mental health resources that complement music ministry
- Develop protocols for identifying and addressing behavioral health needs
- Establish partnerships with mental health professionals and counseling services
- Design programs that use music as a therapeutic tool for emotional healing
- Implement trauma-informed practices across all program levels
- Maintain and model a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Design age-appropriate discipleship programs
- Guide spiritual formation through musical worship
- Create mentorship opportunities across age groups
- Foster intergenerational ministry connections
Qualifications
Required- Strong personal faith and daily walk with Jesus Christ
- Minimum 5 years experience in music ministry leadership
- Background in educational program development across multiple age groups
- Understanding of developmental psychology and behavioral health principles
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation
- Master's degree or higher in Music, Music Education, Music Therapy, Divinity, or related field
- Masters or Doctoral degree in related field
- Experience in music therapy or behavioral health
- Multi-generational teaching experience
- Proficiency in various musical styles and worship traditions
- Experience with remote program management
- Background in special education or adaptive music programs
- Advanced musical ability and knowledge
- Understanding of developmental stages and learning needs
- Cross-generational communication skills
- Program development and management
- Behavioral health awareness and sensitivity
- Digital literacy for remote leadership
- Ability to create age-appropriate programming
- Demonstrated success in multi-generational ministry
- Track record of integrating faith, music, and emotional wellness
- Experience in launching and scaling educational programs
