Help Desk Analyst I

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I in Somerville, Massachusetts. This role is within the IT industry and will be based in an office environment. As a Help Desk Analyst I, you will be part of a team providing tier 1 IT support, dealing with a variety of tasks from handling IT support tickets, managing laptop configurations, to maintaining an organized inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming IT support tickets and ensure timely resolution
- Assist with the installation and troubleshooting of software on laptops
- Manage configurations on laptops before they are shipped out
- Maintain an organized inventory of IT equipment including laptops, Mac & Windows devices, iPhones/Mobile phones, and iPads
- Provide general IT support across a variety of devices and platforms including Android, Cisco, Citrix Technologies, Microsoft, and Active Directory
- Ensure the proper deployment and configuration management of IT resources
- Assist in the maintenance of hardware including Apple devices and a variety of Dell makes and models
- Help manage a user base of approximately 200, ensuring IT needs are met efficiently and effectively. • Proficiency in Android Development is necessary
- Familiarity with Cisco Technologies is required
- Experience with Citrix Technologies is a must
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain Mac Computers is essential
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft software and services is needed
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory is crucial
- Familiarity with Apple Devices and their operating systems is required
- Understanding of Computer Hardware and its components is essential
- Experience in Configuration Management is necessary
- Proven track record in successful Deployments is a must
